Lukah von Leun is a beautiful 3 year old brindle-colored girl with a unique look. The day we found her curled up in a ball by the nearby middle school, we knew there was something so special about her. We were touched by her kind and loving eyes and we all sensed something mystical about her. Recently one of her human friends at the rescue was having girlfriend issues, she listened intently, then she looked him in the eye and put a paw on his shoulder!  No joking, that is our Lukah. She will be there for her new person, but she needs someone who can look out for her too, so she doesn't have to worry about you. At the rescue, she loves everyone she meets and her personality is as sweet as they come. She loves to bury her head in your arms, soaking up every bit of affection. More than anything, Lukah just wants to be close -- she's happiest being right by your side, quietly becoming your shadow. When she looks at you it is with such love, and you will get the feeling that she is really listening. She is housebroken, walks beautifully on leash, and does well with other dogs, including happily joining in play during playgroups.  (She's not for cats.)
